Legendary DJ Mix Master Mike is joining Global Radio’s Xfm to present a new Saturday night mix show from next month.
The Beastie Boys member and three-time world DMC champion will do a show we’re told will feature old skool hip hop beats and cutting edge new styles, as well as celebrating his love of alternative rock beats and breaks.
His show will be an initial 13-week run airing 6-7pm from Saturday 9th July. In the slot just after him will be Mary Ann Hobbs who starts her new weekend show on the same night 7-10pm.
Mix Master Mike said: “Being a part of the Xfm family is going to be amazing! This is a great opportunity to take my fans on a musical journey through my private library. GET READY!”
