Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is to co-present breakfast on Heart 106.2 in London from Monday while Jamie Theakston’s regular co-host Harriet Scott takes maternity leave.
Emma has not long since returned to her own Saturday afternoon show after taking leave herself following the birth of her second baby.
She’s also no stranger to the weekday breakfast show on the Global station, having covered for Harriet in the past. Harriet – who covered Emma’s recent maternity leave – is expecting her second child soon.
Emma says: “I can’t wait to be in the breakfast hot seat with Jamie. It’ll be a fun packed run up to Christmas and I am really excited!”
Heart’s Programme Director Adrian Stewart told RadioToday.co.uk: “We’re delighted to welcome Emma to Heart Breakfast with Jamie.
