Former Google and SpinVox PR Ema Linaker is to work with Bruno Brookes’ in-store radio company Immedia to put a global communications campaign in place for the firm.
We’re told she’ll oversee a website relaunch and new social media strategy for the Newbury-based brand which runs radio services for the likes of HSBC, SPAR and IKEA.
Ema spent 5 years at Google as Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager and also worked for technology firms SpinVox and AVG before setting up her own consultancy business earlier this year.
Bruno Brookes said: “Ema brings a wealth of experience in modern communications which will help drive our strategy to reach new opportunities and clients in an emerging sector. We welcome Ema to Immedia.”
Immedia was founded by the former Radio 1 presenter in 1999 and it currently provides in-store radio for clients including HSBC, SPAR, IKEA, GAME, Top Shop and Lloyds Pharmacy.
