Juice FM Liverpool to move buildings

Liverpool’s 107.6 Juice FM is to move into brand new facilities early next year as part of a £1.1m investment in the station by owners UTV Media.

The station will make the prestigious One Park West in the heart of the city’s Liverpool One site its new home, after almost 15 years in its existing studio complex.

Juice FM Station Director Graham Sarath told us: “These are exiting times for Juice. We’ve increased the audience significantly in recent years and this move signals our intention to push on even further. One Park West at Liverpool One is at the heart of ‘new’ Liverpool and it truly reflects Juice as a brand. To be part of the world famous waterfront is a real privilege which we want our listeners and clients to enjoy with us.”

Guy Butler, Projects Director at Grosvenor UK and Ireland said: “Grosvenor is very excited to have Juice FM coming to One Park West which is located at the heart of Liverpool city centre. One Park West is already home to 326 apartments, a 24 hour gym, restaurants and now the best radio station in town! Juice FM fits perfectly and we look forward to getting them here as soon as possible.”

The station, which was bought by UTV Media in 2005, started life as Crash FM in 1997 from studios in Liverpool’s Fleet Street. At 5,500 square feet, we’re told the new station base will be nearly double the size of the current one. It’ll also include a performance area as well as on air studios that face directly onto the Strand, overlooking the city’s famous waterfront.
