kmfm gives away Vegas trip to see Elton

Kent’s kmfm is sending a lucky listener to Las Vegas after a three-week on air promotion to give away a holiday to the gambling capital of the world.

Winner Cheryl Ireland is taking her sister to see Elton John’s Million Dollar Piano Show at Caesar’s Palace after winning the jackpot in the station’s competition.

She had to name five Elton songs as part of the final round of the promotion on Andy Walker’s drivetime show, beating 22 other finalists to win the Virgin Atlantic flight to Vegas, 5 night stay at the Palazzo Hotel and ticket to see the Rocket Man in concert.

A spokesman for the station told us: “Cheryl and her sister Kirsty will be in the best seats to see one of music’s superstars. Neither of the girls has been to Las Vegas before but are looking forward to hearing their favourite Elton songs. Cheryl’s prize also includes $500 to spend in Vegas – let’s hope she’s lucky!”
