Tony Horne back on air in NW with UTV

Former Metro Radio breakfast presenter Tony Horne is joining UTV Media to present a Sunday morning show on three stations in the North West.

The Tony Horne Sunday Show will be broadcast on Wish FM, Wire FM and Tower FM from next month.

Tony left Metro last summer after nearly seven years on the station’s breakfast show. Before that he was at Century FM in the North West on breakfast between 2001 and 2004. He’d previously spent 4 years at Metro Radio, after joining from GWR FM’s breakfast show in 1996.

He said: “I can’t wait to get started with my brilliant new team. This is the opportunity I’ve been waiting for, and I’m delighted to join a company that is really going places.”

Senior UTV programmer Craig Beck said: “We are committed to, and passionate about, creating compelling and entertaining radio. To achieve that goal you need talented and experienced personalities on the air. I am delighted Tony is joining the team at the UTV Broadcast Centre and I can’t wait to hear him back on the radio in the North West.”

Tony Horne is a 100% class act d1ckhead. He will put down and belittle the area he is presenting to, uses other peoples material and gags due to the simple fact he has no talent.

horrible presenter and missed by no one here. W@nker.
