It’s all change at East Lancashire’s 2BR after Jim Coulson left for Viking FM.
Hometime host Christopher Dean is moving to breakfast, whilst former Century 105 presenter Jason Hardy takes the afternoon slot.
Jason starts his new show on February 27th, whilst Christopher Dean has already moved to the breakfast slot.
2BR Programme Controller Gemma Baron told RadioToday.co.uk: “Chris exemplifies everything we were looking for in our new Breakfast show host, and of course sounds like a famous ice skater which only adds to his appeal. He’s achieved loads for us on drive, and we’re really excited about his move to mornings. The move also allows us to welcome Jason to the team, who I’m certain will continue where Chris left off.”
Managing Director Simon Brierley added: “What do you mean Chris is moving? That means we’ll have to pay for a re-sing on his jingle :(”
2BR broadcasts to East Lancashire from studios near Accrington shared with fellow UKRD station The Bee.
