Lawson lock-in for The Hits Radio

Bauer digital station The Hits Radio has announced a 12-hour Lawson special this weekend as the group wait to find out what position their debut single enters the charts at.

The station says the band will be ‘locked in’ the studio from 7am on Sunday morning and will be on air right through to 7pm.

The station says: “As the band’s debut single is available for download for the first time, we’re ‘locking’ them in the studio for twelve whole hours! Ryan, Andy, Adam and Joel from the band will be hanging out in the studio all day, as they wait to find out where their first single ‘When She Was Mine’ ends up in The Big Top 40 Chart.”

Lawson will be on the station’s Sunday breakfast show with Aileen O’Sullivan from 7am, before joining Romeo at 10am. From 1pm, they’ll be in the studio with Chris Younie through to the Big Top 40 getting underway with Rich and Kat at 4pm.

The Hits Radio is hoping to get the #lawsonlockin hashtag trending following similar major promotions with groups such as One Direction.
