Caesar The Geezer returns with SFM Radio

Former Talk Radio UK phone-in host Caesar The Geezer is returning to the air with Sittingbourne’s new radio station.

He’ll be on community station SFM Radio after it launches this Thursday.

Caesar, aka Chris Rogers was well known the 80s and 90s as Caesar The Geezer/Caesar The Boogieman, with a late night show on Invicta FM, Essex FM and early breakfast on Kiss London, before moving to Talk Radio for its launch in 1995.

SFM Radio will be opened by both The Mayor Of Swale, Cllr Pat Sandle and local MP Gordon Henderson pushing the switch at midday on Thursday 26th July.

Other presenters on the station include Nick Berry on weekday Breakfast and Pete Flynn on Drivetime.

      I would love to know who you are, i already think i know who you are, get your facts right buddy, i got found not guilty and was cleared on appeal after the real thieves came forward thanks to the Radio stations Finance Director.     Caesar got me hooked on chat back in ’92 on K*ss when I was just 16!
    He leaves you reenergised & “glowing” inside (haha). Before that I hated talk radio. He has something unique on-air that can’t be replicated + was born to do it.
    After listening to many amazing LBC & Talksport Professionals (Wale, Collins, Mike Dicken, Anna Raeburn) for nearly 2 decades, no-one does it quite like the Geez. Who else today can genuinely combine & deliver humour, warmth, debate, agony-aunt, paranormal, wind-ups & good music without sounding forced? Long live the original “People’s” Greek!

    Yeah and what’s more annoying, is that certain presenters on a certain London Radio station can’t help referring to it at any given opportunity. It sucks. Cleared is cleared….end of story. Shut up I.C. and S.A. for crying out loud!

    Great while it lasts (about 6 months), when SFM will then ‘merge’ with KMFM and 106.9 will just become another relay of the KMFM service.

      i dont think km will want a station that only go’s out at 20 watts as those in Sittingbourne may all ready get there station on 106.0. or on 107.2 from thanet. both of these transmitters go out at 100 watts each.

    Well the first show last Sunday was well dire – Give it another go this week but it needs to improve one hell of a lot. Most pirate stations I have heard sounded more professional.
