Sussex stations join forces for charity

Arrow FM, Bright FM, Sovereign FM and Splash FM are joining forces for a week of fundraising activities.

The four stations, all owned by Media Sound Holdings, are supporting four hospices across the area for Hospice Care Week from 8th – 14th October, and is an annual event highlighting the crucial work carried out by hospices around the UK.

The week will round off with a Sussex-wide on air auction through the day on Friday 12th October. The station says there’ll be dozens of items to bid on, with lots already confirmed including a champagne balloon flight, five laps in a supercar, a week’s use of a villa in Marbella, a signed Fatboy Slim shirt and a cricket bat signed by Alastair Cooke MBE.

Paul Williams, Group Programme Controller, says “The list of auction items gets more exciting day by day, with more ‘money-can’t buy’ experiences being added all the time. We have spent a lot of time seeing the vital work these hospices do, and it’s a pleasure to be able to fly the flag for them.”
