Smooth Radio is bringing back its all Christmas station for the second year running, on the national Digital One platform.
The station, which operated for two months last year then turned into Smooth 70s, will be in addition to the 70s channel this year, meaning the Smooth brand will have three radio stations on D1.
Real and Smooth Group Programme Director John Simons said: “It’s eight weeks exactly until Christmas Day and many people have begun planning and shopping already. Smooth Xmas was a huge hit last year and we’ve been inundated with queries on when it’s coming back. It provides a great platform for people to sample the Smooth brand, and encourages them to try Smooth Radio if they like what they hear on our seasonal channel.”
Smooth Xmas will continue till Boxing Day.
