Town Mayor helps co-host Academy FM Show

Margate town Mayor Councillor Will Scobie co-hosted Thanet Kent’s community station 107.8 Academy FM’s request show Your Shout over Christmas.

Councillor Scobie is one of the youngest Major’s in the UK at only 23 and has supported the station since his entry into office in May 2012.

Councillor Scobie praised the hard work the station had done since it’s launch in April 2010 and the support it gives the town’s of Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs.

107.8 Academy FM presenter Howard Evans praised the contribution that the Margate Mayor had made to the station as a regular visitor and his co-hosting skills as a radio presenter. Will presented the station with a cheque for £250.
