Have a Heart, the dedicated charity of the Heart network, has launched its 2013 Appeal Week raising money to make dreams come true.
With every local Heart region involved, this year’s Have a Heart Appeal Week features a host of music and showbiz guests, special surprises, auction lots and – for the first time – Heart listeners can take part in an online raffle with prizes up-for-grabs.
Among the raffle prizes available are a VIP trip to Disneyland Paris, a private box at the O2 to see One Direction perform live – and four Club Wembley tickets to see the England football team play Ireland this May, plus signed merchandise from the squad!
The Have a Heart Appeal Week culminates in a fundraising day this Friday 1st March, when a whole host of special guests will give their support. Nicole Scherzinger, The Wanted, Lawson, The Saturdays, Geri Halliwell, Louis Smith and Beth Tweddle will all be involved, alongside Heart presenters including Stephen Mulhern, Toby Anstis, Mark Wright and Emma Bunton.
Have a Heart Ambassador and presenter Toby Anstis said: “This is the week when we can make a real difference to the lives of children across the UK – and with the support of our 7.4 million listeners, we have the opportunity to put a big smile on the faces of some very poorly kids. Whether it’s meeting their favourite celeb, going swimming with dolphins or visiting Mickey Mouse, to grant them a wish would help them get through their daily struggles.”
