Leee John guest presents Smooth Motown

Smooth Radio has recruited Imagination frontman Leee John to present Smooth Radio’s Motown Show for two weeks.

He covered regular show host Dave Brown at the weekend and will do it again this Saturday night.

Smooth Radio Programme Director Steve Collins said: “We’re delighted to welcome Leee onto Smooth Radio for what will be a couple of really special shows.

“If you grew up in the 80s then Leee John’s voice was one of the most familiar on the airwaves and in the clubs, but he’s a man of many talents – which have spanned stage and screen – and we look forward to hearing about his distinguished career, interspersed with some fantastic music, over the next couple of weeks.”

Leee John said: “I’m a great Motown fan with many rare recordings, films and memorabilia, and it’s a real thrill to be asked to fill in for Dave Brown on his Motown Show!”
