Miles Kane to perform for Absolute Radio

The latest intimate gig at Abbey Road Studios for Absolute Radio will see the return of Miles Kane to the station.

On 5th August, Kane will play to an intimate crowd of competition winners and friends of the station in Abbey Road’s iconic Studio Three, synonymous with legendary recordings from The Beatles and Pink Floyd, to name but a couple.

Miles will also be reunited with Absolute Radio DJ and session host Pete Donaldson following the pair’s one-off radio show last May, where Miles was co-host on Donaldson’s regular evening show.

The session, plus backstage interview, will be exclusively recorded for Donaldson’s evening show on Thursday 15th August. Both will also be filmed in HD and will be available to watch online.

Absolute Radio presenter Pete Donaldson said: “It’s great to have Miles playing such an intimate gig after his high profile performances at this year’s Glastonbury and Hard Rock Calling festivals. The crowd will be getting up close and personal and I for one can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us.”

Miles follows in the footsteps of artists including Beady Eye, Mumford and Sons, Paul Weller, Stereophonics, Suede, Tom Odell and The XX who have all performed for The Abbey Road Acoustic Sessions with Absolute Radio over the last two years.
