New radio industry smartphone app released

A new app for the radio industry has just been released, containing the very latest news, jobs, photos, videos, podcasts and more.

The RadioToday App, sponsored by, is available for phones and tablets, on the Android and iOS platforms.

Managing Editor Roy Martin says it’s about time: “We’ve had an app for a number of years now, but it was getting a bit old and dated, so we decided to bring out a completely new version thanks to the sponsorship of

“We’ve kept it simple this time so all our content, from Audioboos to live event coverage can be found in one place, along with the very latest radio news and jobs from around the UK.

“The app also features push alerts, so if you activate the feature on first load, you’ll be the first to know the latest news.”

RadioToday says the feedback so far has been astonishing with quotes such as “Yes it works” and “About time”.
