The BBC’s director of distribution Alix Pryde is to leave the corporation after 12 years.
Alix most recently addressed delegates at The Radio Festival where she revealed news of the BBC’s new network of 162 DAB transmitters planned for the next couple of years.
She is joining Vodafone to run its consumer product department.

Alix joined the BBC in 2002 in Strategy then became chief adviser to Caroline Thomson, the former chief operating officer.
