Premier Group has completed a re-branding exercise across its broadcasting and publishing group.
Premier Christian Media will, in future, be known simply as Premier with the supporting strap line ‘Leaders in Christian Communications’.
Established in 1995 as the radio station Premier Christian Radio, Premier is a registered charity owned by the Premier Christian Media Trust. During its near twenty years history, it has expanded its broadcasting activity – introducing ‘Premier Gospel’ alongside the original radio station and now publishes magazines including ‘Premier Christianity’, ‘Premier Youthwork’, and ‘Premier Childrenswork’.
Peter Kerridge, Premier’s CEO, said today; “Each of our broadcasting and publishing titles now has a new logo and a shared ‘Premier’ pre-fix so that we have created a new Premier family with a distinctive look and imagery. We believe that the new look will support and assist our future plans to successfully promote the Christian message and Christian values on a nationwide basis.”
Premier is funded through a mixture of advertising revenues supported by donations and twice yearly Radiothons. A single donation of £10,000 was pledged by a listener during a six-day Radiothon last November which raised over £300,000. The radio station broadcasts 24 hours a day across the UK on DAB.
