New programme managers at Eagle Radio

Afternoon presenter Kim Robson has been appointed as Programme Manager for UKRD station Eagle Radio.

In addition, Chris Howell, who joined the company in 2007 via its own Academy training scheme, is to become Community Programme Manager with responsibility for Eagle Extra and eagle3 which features unsigned acts and artists as part of its mainstream output.

Eagle Radio Programme Director Peter Gordon said: “I am absolutely delighted for both Chris and Kim who fully deserve their promotions. To make new appointments within a business is always exciting, but for them to be for two people who have entirely embraced what Eagle Radio is all about and what we stand for is particularly satisfying.

“As well as making great radio, Eagle’s values and cultural environment make us stand out from many similar companies; both Chris and Kim understand this fully and have thrived as a result.

“I look forward to working with them both as we move forward into a very exciting future for the Eagle Radio family.”
