Bauer Media has restructured its UK-wide sales team to work on all brands across all platforms including radio, magazines and television.
The new, future-facing Bauer Advertising set-up, borne out of an internal and external review, is to be coordinated around client and agency structures. Seven new teams are being created to provide a unified approach for customers looking to connect with Bauer’s multi-platform brands across TV, online, radio, print and mobile.
In personnel changes, Absolute Radio’s commercial director Simon Kilby becomes Head of Marketplace whilst Sales Director of London Lifestyle Clare Chamberlain becomes Head of Creative and Brand Solutions. Lucy Banks becomes Executive Creative Director and Rebecca Eaves moves from her current role as marketing consultant to become Commercial Marketing Director.
The announcement follows the editorial and commercial launch of Bauer’s digital lifestyle brand for 20-something women, The Debrief, in February 2014 and the effective integration of Absolute Radio and its digital focus into the wider Bauer Media business.
The new structure will also include three additional senior roles, which are currently being recruited for Head of Client Development, Head of Creative Suite and Head of Operations.
Richard Dunmall, Group Managing Director, Advertising, Bauer Media UK, said: “The new sales structure set-up and its talented leadership team will now allow us to position ourselves as an impressively scaled, content and audience business to our commercial partners, delivering a refreshed, best-in-class service to our clients. It is a hugely exciting new chapter for our London Lifestyle and Radio advertising teams and we look forward to being more compelling to do business with.”
