The first three commercial partners for the Radio Academy Awards have been announced ahead of this year’s event on May 12th.
PRS for Music, SGPB Hambros and RCS will support the awards previously known as the Sonys.
They will once again be hosted by Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans, and take place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel with over 1100 guests representing the UK radio industry. 34 awards will be presented over the course of the evening, including the Gold and Special Awards which are in the gift of the Radio Academy Awards Committee. The ceremony will also see two live musical performances – further details will be soon.
