Glen Hunt joins Tower FM for Breakfast

Former Real Radio North West breakfast presenter Glen Hunt has joined Tower FM to host the breakfast show.

He takes over the show from Simon Morykin, who has only been on the show since March. He’s off to Hallam FM to host mid-mornings.

Glen told RadioToday: “I can’t wait to start hosting the breakfast show on Tower FM – I feel very privileged to work every day right here in the North West, and there’s nothing I love more than being on the radio.”

Glen has been working on radio in the North West since 1996, at MFM, Rock FM and Radio City before joining Real Radio for drivetime in 2008.

He was hosting Real Radio North West breakfast with Lorna Bancroft before Global Radio rebranded the station as Heart.

Terry Underhill, Group Programme Director for UTV Media (GB) added: “We’re thrilled that Glen Hunt is going to present the breakfast show on Tower FM – we know the listeners will love him and the new show is really shaping up to be great.”
