Radio stations across the UK are calculating data released internally this morning ahead of the embargo being lifted at midnight tonight.
Details of which stations are up, down and staying the same will be public and graphs plus news will be online at RadioToday later.
This quarter, there are lots of changes as Global Radio replaced Gold with Smooth and Real Radio with Heart. The most confusing diary entries this quater are “Real Radio North West (was Century Radio)” to “Radio Radio North West (now Heart North West)” and “96.3 Real XS Glasgow (was 96.3 Rock Radio)” is also now “96.3 Real XS Glasgow (now XFM Scotland)”
Gold becomes Smooth in Essex, North West and Wales, Cambridgeshire, South Wales, Kent, Sussex, Thames Valley, Devon, East Anglia, Four Counties, Solent and West Country and Bauer Radio has changed Bauer Radio London (Kiss/Magic) to Bauer Radio London (Kiss/Magic/Absolute).
Heart North West and Wales changes to Capital North West and Wales and Buzz Asia 963 & 972AM changes to Sunrise Radio
Stations not reporting this time round include Sunrise Radio Greater London, Kismat Radio 1035, Smooth Radio 70s, MKFM and the Real Radio Brand.
A number of stations have a revised, increased TSA too, including Real Radio and Smooth Radio North East (from 2,254,201 to 2,290,998), Real Radio and Smooth Radio North West (from 5,370,112 to 5,593,639), Smooth Radio Midlands (from 5,878,192 to 6,137,504) and Capital and Gold East Midlands (from 1,991,935 to 2,235,401).
