Cash for Kids charity helps at Glasgow2014

Bauer Media’s Cash for Kids charity is helping young people be part of an inspiring day out at Glasgow 2014.

The Gift of the Games programme will ensure thousands of young people, who otherwise may not have the opportunity, will experience the field-of-play action across a wide range of sports taking place throughout the Games, with transport and meals also provided. Games sponsors and Scotland’s business community are meeting the cost of Gift of the Games, delivered through Cash For Kids.

Graham Bryce, Group Managing Director, Bauer Place North: “All our Scottish radio stations are very excited to be involved and we very much hope the children are inspired by what they experience at the Games.”

Lord McConnell of Glenscorrodale Chairman, Radio Clyde Cash For Kids, added: “Glasgow 2014’s Gift of the Games creates opportunities for young people to see heroes up close and in action, will lift spirits and create dreams that could last forever, ensuring the legacy reaches those facing the biggest challenges.”
