Gloria Abramoff made Radio Academy CEO

Gloria Abramoff is replacing Paul Robinson as part-time Chief Executive Officer of Radio Academy.

Paul stepped down from the position last month after 10 months in the job, but now Gloria, who is the Managing Director of Tonic Media and Productions, will take over in the Interim.

Gloria took up the post yesterday and will be responsible for working with the Board of Trustees to lead the creation and delivery of the Radio Academy’s strategic and commercial direction.

The former BBC Children in Need Manager was once a Trustee of The Radio Academy, and has a history in broadcasting working with the BBC and independent sector. She was made a Radio Academy Fellow in 2012 and judged the Radio Academy Awards this year.
