Next Radio has just announced new conference speakers including guests from America’s NPR, Canada’s CBC, SoundCloud, Radioplayer and Audiomonitor.
Every month more than two and a half million people visit NPR Music online and on mobile devices and millions more hear music coverage on NPR’s flagship radio programs like All Songs Considered. NPR’s Director of Music Anja Grundmann will reveal how they brought everything together.
Joining Anja on stage will be another Music Director, this time from Canada’s CBC. Mark Steinmetz is responsible for music across Radio One, Radio 2, Radio 3, the 50 web radio stations at cbcmusic.ca and will be sharing their story.
Jonathan Arendt from Hallett Arendt will be talking about Audiomonitor – a new study tracking the interrelationships between broadcast, online audio and physical music formats.
The conference will also hear from the Managing Director of Radioplayer, Michael Hill and SoundCloud’s Senior Audio Content Manager Ben Fawkes.
James Cridland: “We’re excited to announce these new speakers for this year’s Next Radio. Whether you’re from programming, sales, research or technology you’ll hear ideas that will both entertain and inspire you”.
These speakers join a line-up that already includes LBC’s James Rea, Key 103’s Kate Cocker, radio presenter Simon Hirst, Orion’s Media’s David Lloyd and Bauer Media’s Anthony Abbott.
Tickets are on sale at http://nextrad.io/ with the earlybird rate ending at the end of the month.
