Nick Ferrari will be interviewed by Kay Burley at this year’s Radio Festival – just one of the highlights announced by the Radio Academy today.
Comedian, writer and podcaster Richard Herring will also be chatting with Absolute Radio’s Geoff Lloyd as Fi Glover, presenter of BBC Radio 4’s The Listening Project, and BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour presenter Jane Garvey return to host the event.
Nick’s session will take place on Wednesday 15th October – the final day of the three day event. He was last at the Festival in 2010, being interviewed by Penny Smith.
Fi Glover said: “Jane and I can’t wait to get back on stage at The Lowry. Last year’s Festival was a thrill to host – and this year’s looks bigger, better, broader, keener and meaner. Just like us. The line up is amazing – its ambition is striking, particularly the sessions which will be looking outside the audio landscape and peering across the horizons of other industries. We’ve got a feeling in our waters that the John Humphrys Masterclass might well be one of those unmissable radio events…and as for the ‘How to…’ room – well, you might have trouble keeping us out of that one, never too old to learn and all that. Basically we can’t wait – but we’ll have to”.
