Wet Wet Wet to perform at BBC Scotland

Wet Wet Wet will be performing in front of an audience for a one-off exclusive set outside BBC Radio Scotland.

The special concert on July 28th, presented by Ken Bruce, will also be heard live on BBC Radio Scotland and in-vision online.

Wet Wet Wet said; “We are thrilled to be returning to our home town of Glasgow to be taking part in what can only be described as a momentous occasion. To be involved in the Commonwealth Games through music and to celebrate the games arrival in our city is an honour. We can’t wait.”

It’s part of a number of special events taking place in Glasgow, titled BBC at the Quay and runs from Saturday 19 July till Sunday 3 August.

Sharon Mair, Project Executive for BBC at the Quay, says: “We are so close to the opening of BBC at the Quay and it’s great to be able to announce Wet Wet Wet to the line-up. We are excited about welcoming everyone to the Quay and whether they are just soaking up the atmosphere on site, or going to see one of the shows, there really will be something for everyone.”
