Mike Cass returns with Bauer Yorkshire

Former Chrysalis programmer and current assistant Group Programme Director of Nova Entertainment in Australia Mike Cass is joining Bauer.

He’s taking up the position of Regional Content Director Yorkshire, which was recently vacated by John Dash.

Mike will have a wider remit across Bauer Radio Place 2 and 3 Portfolios throughout the North of England and Scotland.

Mike will be based in Leeds with Yorkshire Content Controllers James Lett, Alex Vladev and John Harding reporting to him, as well as Place 2 Content Controller Scotland Duncan Leven.

Prior to his time at Nova, Mike was Group Programme Director for the Galaxy and Choice FM networks. He’ll report into Owen Ryan – Group Content Director, Bauer Place north of England and Scotland who said “Mike’s vast experience of programming in hugely competitive worldwide markets across mainstream, youth and more mature formats will be invaluable in our drive to return our Yorkshire FM’s to number one in all markets and to grow our Place 2 and Place 3 sub brands across the north of England and Scotland”

Newly created positions of Place 2 Content Controller, England, as well as Place 3 Content Controller will be advertised shortly and both roles will also report to Cass.

Mike Cass will join Bauer Radio in January 2015.
