Debbie Mac joins Bauer for daily network show

Bauer Radio’s one hour Old Skool and Anthems show is to be hosted by Debbie Mac from January, replacing Neil Bentley.

Debbie joins Bauer from Global Radio where she is currently hosting weekends on Heart North West. Previously Debbie presented the afternoon show across the Real Radio network. Her new show will be live, replacing the current pre-recorded show, and will also host Saturday evening 6-10pm across the Place 1 network.

Before Real Radio, Debbie worked for Galaxy, Kiss, Key 103 and Hallam FM, and spent two years at 95.8 Capital FM in London.

Owen Ryan, Group Content Director Bauer Place North of England said: “Debbie is well known to our audiences across the North of England and Scotland and her vast knowledge and love of dance and pop anthems makes her the perfect host for the show in 2015.”

Debbie Mac told RadioToday:”I’m very excited to get on the show and play music I can genuinely enthuse about. Roll on 2015!”

The new show starts on January 5th, when Bauer’s new Place 2 and Place 3 stations launch.
