Wessex FM has just launched its first branded bus since the station’s early days in the mid 90s.
The bus which will run Damory Bus routes through the main towns in their transmission area, Weymouth, Dorchester, Bridport & Beaminster has been designed by the in house Damory Team and start running this week.
Station MD Steve Bulley told RadioToday: “I was looking for something very visual to celebrate our broadcasting milestone and what better than a double decker bus.”
The UKRD station is also moving location to another part of town, exiting its town centre ‘house’ style location of 21 years for a more modern open-plan office.
“The bus will start on a crucial route which was saved by Damory after a rival operator pulled their service earlier this year,” Steve added.
