RadioCentre is to play host to the Association of European Radios international summit at its offices on November 24th.
The AER is a Europe-wide trade body representing the interests of over 4,500 private/commercial radio stations across the EU and in Switzerland.
Industry representatives from France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland and of course, the UK will attend the summit to discuss commercial radio’s relationship with third-party streaming services and consider the potential opportunities presented by online listening in the future.
The latest EU policy initiatives, including a potential review of the Copyright Framework, will also be considered.
The group of European radio executives will have the opportunity to review the latest initiatives and research from UK radio, including a smartphone enterprise from Nick Piggott of RadioDNS; an update on the latest activity from Radioplayer by Managing Director, Michael Hill, including its in-car device, and a presentation on Creativity in Cannes from Head of Creative Development at the RAB, Clare Bowen.
The findings from the RAB latest research study, Audio Now, plus the Radio ROI Multiplier will also be presented, as well as a look at how to make radio advertising warning messages more effective from the RAB’s Judith Spilsbury.
