The Piccadillys, presumably named after the heritage name of Key 103, have released their first song.
It’s called Music Everywhere and was recently performed by the girl group at local Christmas light switch ons in Manchester and Trafford. They’ll also play at Key 103’s upcoming Christmas concert.
The band was created by the Bauer Media radio station earlier this year and is supported by the station.
Breakfast show presenters Mike & Chelsea have become be quite close with the girls since September. Mike said, “We think The Piccadilly’s have done a brilliant job, it’s been great fun working with the girls. They all have amazing voices and they have a bright future ahead of them.
“The girls have done a great job with their first song and we’re sure they’ll release many more of this calibre in the future”.
The Piccadillys are Belle Walsh 18 from Stockport, Emily Hall 20 from Bury, Georgia Williams 16 Stockton Heath and January Woodhead 25 from Oldham.
Chelsea added “I love ‘Music Everywhere’ and I know the public will too. This is only their first song and I’m sure they are going to be big”.
