As Natalie B from Heart Four Counties takes time off to have a baby, co-host Stuart Miles is reunited with Katy Hill.
Katy joins him for breakfast on the Global station from February meaning the pair reunite fifteen years after they hosted Blue Peter together. Stuart has been on the breakfast show since 2010.
Katy Hill said: “I’m really looking forward to co-hosting Heart Breakfast as I’m a massive fan of Heart. To do it with one of my best mates is about as good as it gets and I can’t wait to join Stuart as we wake up Heart listeners every morning. Get ready for February 2 – it’s going to be lots of fun, I promise!”
Katy blogged about the news today saying she’s kept it a secret for months: “I’ve had to keep the secret since the Autumn when talks started and we had a top-secret photo shoot just before Christmas at the gorgeous Holborn Studios, which gave us a chance for a wander along a Christmassy Oxford Street afterwards and share some bubbles to celebrate the future …. rude not to! I start in February!”
Mark Sadler, managing editor of Heart Four Counties added: “We are very excited to welcome Katy to the Heart Four Counties breakfast show with Stuart. Their close friendship means they’ve got a brilliant chemistry together, so our listeners are in for a real treat. We wish Natalie all the best as she becomes a mum. I think Stuart has already been booked for baby-sitting duties!”
