Hirsty to host Sound Women Future Festival

Stephanie Hirst is one of the hosts for this year’s Sound Women festival at New Broadcasting House in London.

The former Capital FM presenter will be joined by fellow hosts Helen Zaltzman from comedy podcast Answer Me This, and Clara Amfo from BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart Show.

The Festival has a Future theme and is aiming for attendees to leave with everything they need to know to future-proof their careers, equipped with the tools to realise digital opportunities and to fulfil ambitions. The event is set to be held on the 21st of March in the Radio Theatre inside New Broadcasting House.

The full day event includes talks and discussions looking at the creative and technical future of audio and radio as well as the opportunity to try out the latest innovative gadgetry in the industry. For the first time this year, the festival will also include surgeries, where members are able to book in for one-to-one advice from industry professionals.

The Sound Women Festival is open to men and women currently working in or interested in radio and audio, taking place on March 21st.
