Broadcast and digital specialists USP Content is celebrating its 25th Anniversary by making two new high profile appointments.
Former GWR/GCap Chief Executive Ralph Bernard has been appointed Chairman whilst Chris Suckling is now Managing Director.
Rob Jones continues as CEO.
Ralph built up the GWR Group to make it the biggest commercial radio operation in the UK when it merged with Capital Radio to form GCap. He founded and for 20 years was Chief Executive, then Chairman, of Classic FM. He then became Chief Executive of The Royal Albert Hall.
Ralph now chairs The National Ballet School, The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and a number of other organisations in the area of performing arts and media.
Chris Suckling joins USP Content from Folder Media where he led their independent programme production for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4, as well as managing projects for Commercial clients and Fun Kids. Chris started his career at BBC Radio 1 before joining Classic FM and rising to become senior producer there. At Global Radio, Chris was programme director at Heart Cambridgeshire. USP CEO, Rob Jones said “Chris has a proven record in creating innovative ideas and bringing them to life”.
