VIDEO: Arqiva nominations out later this week

The organisers of this year’s Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards have confirmed that the nominations will be revealed this Thursday at 11.30am.

The shortlist for the awards, run by RadioCentre, will be announced by Absolute Radio presenters Sarah Champion and Rob Beckett via YouTube.

From this year each category has five nominees, with Broze, Silver and Gold winners due to be announced at the Arqiva Awards on 8th July at a new venue for 2015 – the Roundhouse in Camden, North London. Heart London breakfast presenters Jamie Theakston and Emma Bunton are the new hosts, taking over from Christian O’Connell.

There are 25 categories this year, including a new ‘Innovation of the Year’ prize.

There’s also a new imaging theme for the awards, provided by sponsors ReelWorld.
