2BR admits to playing stunt on listeners

Afternoon drive presenter Christopher Dean has admitted to the stunt he and programme controller Gemma Baron played on listeners.

Chris quit on-air, acting out a disagreement with his boss Gemma, having already secured a new job within UKRD. He’s off to replace Adam Newstead at KLFM who has joined Global.

The news made a couple of local newspapers who reported on the stunt as fact.

The station has admitted the news today, also announcing Paris Munro is joining to host the drive show.

Paris has just finished university, but is already station voice at The Hits and a volunteer assistant producer at Bauer City 3, and has also covered shows at Gaydio in Manchester.
