kmfm hires student award winner for evenings

kmfm has Student Radio Award winner Glen Scott to host its evening show ‘The Hit List’.

Glen won the Gold Award for Best Male Presenter and for Best Chart Show at the National Student Radio Awards has worked as a producer at JACKfm in Southampton and cover presenter for Capital South Coast and Fire Radio.

Glen said, “I’m really excited to be joining the team at kmfm and to be able to take my passion for everything music and broadcast it. kmfm have a really creative team and I’m really looking forward to becoming part of it”

Programme Manager Rob Wills told RadioToday: “It’s great to sign Glen to The Hit List. I like giving young people the chance to perform and I’m really looking forward to hearing and seeing Glen’s work.”

Glen takes over The Hit List from Sunday 5th July, replacing Emma Jo who is joining Global. Emma was a Student Radio Award winner – she was named as Bronze Best Female at the Student Radio Awards 2013, and was PC for Surge Radio in Southampton.
