Bauer Media Group has appointed John-Paul Hughes to the new position of Group Head of Creative across its City Network.
John-Paul comes from Radio Clyde where he has been Head of Creative for the last two years and will transition to his new role in the next month. Prior to joining Bauer he was at GMG Radio and Spike Media.
Commenting on his new position, John-Paul Hughes said: “I’m really chuffed to be offered this new role and to enjoy the confidence of such a great team. I’m particularly looking forward to working with the Heads of Creative across all BCN stations and seeing the results of effective collaboration.
“My new role will involve working closely with the BCN creative and commercial teams to really understand each client and work with them to generate themes, messaging and concepts they can use across all platforms from radio advertising to social media and print to outdoors. This cohesive approach should be reflected in everything we do.
“Together, we can help devise the perfect advertising strategy for our clients and be there every step of the way from inception to implementation. We live in a very exciting age where the world around us is constantly changing; we at Bauer City Network must ensure our offerings reflect this diverse world and I’m excited to meet the challenges ahead.”
