Francesca Lewis has joined the recently rebranded Radiocentre as Head of Communications.

Francesca will be responsible for all aspects of internal and external communications and PR at Radiocentre, promoting on its Sound, Commercial, Sense positioning.

“I am delighted to be joining the friendly team at Radiocentre,” Francesca says. “This is a particularly interesting time to be working in radio as digital listening gains momentum. I am really looking forward to getting my teeth into this excellent challenge.”

Lewis started at global public relations agency Biss Lancaster before joining The National Magazine Company/Hearst Corporation working on such brands as Good Housekeeping and Country Living. She followed Radiocentre CEO Siobhan Kenny to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, working on Government policies in all three areas, particularly for the then Secretary of State, Tessa Jowell. Most recently Lewis has been freelancing for the Home Office, the Global Library of Women’s Medicine and Eat Seasonably.

Siobhan Kenny said: “It’s great to welcome Fran to the team at this fascinating stage in the evolution of the medium of radio.   Her communications expertise, covering global consumer brands and Government public relations, will help us get the message across about the power of radio and audio, both to our advertising and policy audiences.”
