Capital’s Head of Production departs Global

Chris Nicoll, Head of Production at Capital and Capital XTRA is leaving the company after six years.

Posting on social media, Chris announced he has decided it’s time to leave for pastures new. “I’ve learnt an incredible amount, and created an obscene amount of audio in that time,” he said.

“I’ve worked with amazing Programme Controllers, world class Imaging Producers along the way, even managing to marry one of them (hey, I couldn’t marry all of you) and worked with incredible Voice Talent. I’ve made loads of friends and hopefully I’ve managed to impress along the way. Here’s to the next challenge!”

Before joining Global, Chris was Imaging Producer for NZME Radio, producing all the imaging for one of New Zealand’s biggest CHR radio networks, ‘ZM’.

He continues to be Owner & Creative Director of wizzFX Limited, a London based production company.

Global is now advertising for a replacement, saying “We are looking for someone who can create a sound that the world of audio broadcasting will want to follow.”
