The Guardian starts live radio programmes

The Guardian is returning to the world of live radio with an hour of programming on the digital station NTS each week.

NTS broadcasts online from east London, and has entered an agreement with the newspaper to host 10×1 hour radio shows starting Friday 15th January.

Each show will be hosted by a special guest, including Neneh Cherry, Miranda Sawyer and Stewart Lee. It will be available as a podcast the next day.

See more information from the Guardian website.

The Guardian Media Group sold all of its radio assets to Global in 2011, after creating the Real Radio, Rock Radio and Smooth Radio brands.
