Minster FM, Stray FM and Yorkshire Coast Radio are launching a new digital radio station on DAB in North Yorkshire.
The station, called North Yorkshire Oldies, will play non-stop music from the 50s to the 80s and follows other UKRD launching similar stations such as Pirate Oldies in the South West.
Chris Sigsworth, Managing Director of Yorkshire Coast Radio told RadioToday: “North Yorkshire Oldies will complement the service provided by Minster FM, Stray FM and Yorkshire Coast Radio.
“Whilst listeners to our three heritage stations enjoy the strong mix of local news, information and mix of music from the last 40 years, the new station will play a non-stop mix of oldies from the 50s to the 80s.”
North Yorkshire Oldies will launch on February 1st via MuxCo North Yorkshire and is currently testing online here.
