Ex-Palm FM Managing Director joins Radio EXE

Jane Lack, former MD at Palm FM, is replacing Paul Nero as Managing Director at Radio EXE.

Paul will continue to serve on Radio Exe’s board of directors and will now concentrate on building Exe Broadcasting’s other business interests in events management and media training.

Palm, Jane’s previous station, has just been rebranded as The Breeze as Celador took majority control. Jane Lack says: “As the only station, commercial or BBC, that’s made in Devon all day, every day, Radio Exe is a landmark radio station. From the music to the news to the people on air, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve heard and it’s clear listeners do too. I’m looking forward to playing a part in a radio station that works hard to understand what its audience and clients value.”

Radio Exe Chairman Rex Rozario OBE adds: “We’re excited to have someone of Jane’s talent, energy and experience lead Radio Exe through its next stage of development.

“I would like to thank Paul Nero for his contribution over the past four years and are pleased that he will continue to be actively involved in the station.”

Paul Nero says: “As Radio Exe continues to grow, we’re being invited to offer more marketing services than simply radio alone, and we’ll have news shortly about how we’ll be developing the parent company. Jane’s a proven broadcasting executive and we’re thrilled she’s joining us.”

Paul will also pursue his other work as an author and director of copywriting agency Plain Text.
