Radio Carmarthenshire & Radio Ceredigion breakfast presenter Jay Curtis has signed up for a charity football match to raise money.
The annual pro celebrity match on Sunday May 22 will bring together a team of celebrities and ex-professional sports players including Hollyoaks and Torchwood actor Kai Owen, Masterchef finalist Dale Williams, former Apprentice hopeful Alex Mills and Aron Williams from MTV The Valleys.
Speaking to RadioToday, Jay said: “I’m really excited to play in this years charity football match. Ty Hafan and its workers continue to amaze me and after visiting the hospice to record a Christmas special back in December, I jumped at the chance to be part of this fundraising event.”
The event will coincide with a national radio campaign this Friday (15th April) whereby all the stations across the Nation Broadcasting group will join forces for the ‘Big Welsh Fundraiser’, encouraging listeners to use the power of their creativity to do good and help raise money for the charity with dedicated events and text donations.
