Ken Livingstone disappears from LBC radio show

Presenter and former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone is leaving LBC at the end of his current contract.

Ken has not been on-air recently and a report in the Mail today says he has been sacked following ‘anti-semitic’ remarks.

Ken has been hosted a Saturday morning show with David Mellow on the station since May 2012, having originally joined in 2008 for a weekly show. He stepped down in March 2012 in order to concentrate on the London Mayoral elections.

An LBC spokesperson confirmed the news to RadioToday, saying: “Ken Livingstone is not currently presenting on LBC and will not be returning to the station at the end of his contract.”

Channel 4 News political journalist Michael Crick is now hosting the 10am till 1pm Saturday show.
