Radio technology conference TechCon is in new hands this year as a new company announces the date for the next event.
Previously it was part of the Radio Academy and the Radio Festival, but a new independent event will now take place on Monday, 28th November 2016 at the Arts Theatre, Great Newport Street, London.
It is being run by Ann Charles, Andy Buckingham and Aradhna Tayal trading as TBC Media Ltd, and ticket pricing information will be released very soon. Members of the Radio Academy will be offered a discount.
The Radio Academy is supportive of the new event, and Roger Cutsforth, the RA Managing Director says: “Engineering and technology are vital to radio’s future and we are delighted to support TBC Media in this exciting new chapter for Radio TechCon. Whilst an independent event, Academy members will benefit from discounted ticket prices and we wish TBC Media the very best of luck.”
Ann Charles from TBC Media says: “We are really excited to be able to bring creative engineers and tech-loving producers together to share their love of all things audio. Radio TechCon is a day to celebrate all the work that goes on behind-the-scenes to keep our radio stations on air and our content shared online.”
