FAI16 radio station forced off-air due to rain

Farnborough International Airshow 2016’s official radio station was forced off-air yesterday as power was cut on site.

Torrential weather conditions meant the show was cancelled and power was cut off as a precaution after flooding across the area.

Farnborough Airshow Radio is broadcasting all speech with news, interviews, features and commentary from the seven day event, on FM and DAB in area.

The station is also the first customer of Indulge Pop-Up – a new service from the operators of the Portsmouth minimux offering DAB+ space in Hampshire.

The airshow and the radio station are both back up and running today.
