Singer Olly Murs visited The Bay studios in Lancaster to officially reopen them after recent flood damage.
He cut the ribbon to the studio complex near the city centre in front of hundreds of fans who had turned up to see him. Olly also unveiled a plaque at the new studios before chatting to The Bay’s drive time presenter Darren Milby.
The former X-Factor finalist signed autographs and spent over an hour at the studios chatting to guests and performing his new single, You Don’t Know Love.
The Bay started broadcasting from the location, St Georges Quay in Lancaster, in March 1993 and has been based there ever since. It broadcasts on 96.9, 102.3 and 103.2 across North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
